Description

An aerial photograph of the Streamwood municipal complex circa 1996. The exact date is unknown, but is most likely between 1994 and 1998.

In 1990, the Village Hall moved to the present day, 220,000 square feet location, at 301 E Irving Park Road. The old 401 Irving Park Road location would become the police department building. In 1991, the Veteran's Memorial was dedicated in front of Village Hall. The construction of Rahlfs Woods Park, which is now located in the upper left of the photo, would not begin until 1998. The Streamwood Public Works building has also not yet been built in this photograph.

Poplar Creek Public Library can be seen in the upper left corner.
